I began creeping into the HP fandom in late August/early September, 2001. I came over from the Star Wars: The Phantom Menace fandom and began poking around Yahoo for HP related mailing lists. In the midst of my searching, I found the now-deleted Snapeslash list, where I became an active member.

On September 14, 2001, I posted my first story: In A Delicate Way. Although I left the identity of Snape's partner a mystery, in my mind, it was Remus. I had looked around and read enough to know the pairing that intrigued me most was Snape/Lupin, and finding The Parapet (the ship's first archive, inactive since 2003) solidified that interest. I was on my way to having an OTP by October 4, when I posted part one of Wicked Game 1 to the Snapeslash list.

It wasn't long after that I helped form the Snape Slash Fleet, a series of connected archives which each featured a different Snape pairing. I headed up the original Moonshadow archive and (IIRC), Slug & Jiggers, which was for Snape rarepairs. To my knowledge, all the SSF archives are still active, although they've been moved and handed over to new archivists.

On May 15, 2002, I joined a new RPG: Hogwarts Online, which eventually developed a Snape/Lupin storyline. I played Remus and Harry for just over a year there, and then on June 21, 2003, I joined the follow-up game, Finite Incantatum playing the same characters in addition to Trelawney and Draco Malfoy. These two games were pretty much the extent of my fandom participation during this time period; playing multiple characters kept me busy, and I wrote very little fanfiction for about 18 months.

The second game was short-lived, and when it ended, I dove back into broader fandom activity. On October 20, 2003, I created a new Livejournal - scribbulus_ink - which I'm still using. I began writing fanfiction again, and while I branched out into writing other pairings, my love for my OTP was still strong.

Over the years, I've written close to 100 RL/SS stories (not counting drabbles); some were written with Arionrhod, whom I've collaborated with since August, 2004. We write Time of Storms - a post-HBP serial RL/SS story - and play Lupin and Snape together in the Snark and Bark RPG, which has moved to Insanejournal, here.

I'm the active mod of Pervy Werewolf, which hosts the Lusty Month of May Marathon (an annual event since 2004), and I ran the Secret Snupin Santa holiday exchange in 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Other fandom activities:

December, 2003 - January, 2006 - created and modded Snape 100.

February, 2004 - the present - created and mod Pervy Werewolf, which is now locked and closed; the currently active community can be found on Insanejournal here.

March, 2003 - January, 2006 - created and modded HP Classic.

July, 2004 - January, 2006 - created and modded Lupin 100.

From May, 2004 - July, 2006, I was one of the editors for the Daily Snitch newsletter.

Also in 2004, I hosted two rounds of the Classic Canon Challenge, two rounds of the Woobies of Destiny: Harry/Neville FQF, and the I Don't Want to Die a Virgin challenge.
